YouTube can display Google search results in Android app

YouTube can display Google search results in Android app
Google-owned YouTube video streaming platform has begun testing a new feature that pulls results from: Google search within the YouTube app, according to a report by XDA Developers.
According to the report, a screenshot has appeared on reddit which shows search results for “open beer with knife” in YouTube app. At the bottom of the video search results, there is a special section called “result from the web” of Google Search.
At the bottom of the map, you’ll also see a shortcut to take them to Google’s search results. While Google hasn’t said anything about the feature, it’s expected to make it easier for a user to see search results in terms of both videos and web links in the app.

The report claims the feature appears to be rolling out as a server-side update from the company.
Last week, the company rolled out a new feature called Bedtime Reminders that aims to reduce users’ video watching time after a certain hour. When this feature is enabled, the YouTube app will tell the viewer to stop watching the video and go to bed.
This feature has been made available for both android and iOS users and is not yet available for those who watch YouTube videos on desktop.
To enable this feature, users need to go to the Settings section of the app where they can find “Remind me when it’s time to go to bed.” Users can easily turn it on or off and even choose a start and end time for the reminder.
A user will also be given the option to choose whether they want the YouTube app to send the bedtime reminder while watching a video or wait for the video they are watching to finish. To do that, users must select ‘wait until I finish my video to show reminder’ when setting up this feature.

Bombers are big favorites, but long interruptions and bad weather could play a part in CFL West Final against Riders

It will probably come as no surprise to many that the Canadian Football League’s first ever game to be played in Winnipeg in December is expected to take place in inclement weather.

Article content

The forecast for Sunday’s western final between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders at IG Field (3:00 p.m., TSN), calls for 2-4 inches of snow, northerly winds of 50-70 kph and wind chill in the range of – 24 C.

Whatever the game plan for the Bombers – favored by 8.5 points – and their Saskatchewan prairie rivals, much of it could be thrown out the window if the aforementioned terms come to fruition.

“Decisions will have to be made that will have to change based on the weather, but that’s no different than any other situation,” said Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea on Saturday, after his team held a final walkthrough on IG. field.

“If it’s a heavy rain, the game still goes on, and if it’s really windy in the summer, you have to make other decisions.

“Both teams will be affected in some way by it, and whoever handles it best will do better, I think. The game is played, and under those circumstances we’ll see how it unfolds, and that decisions will be made under those circumstances. You have to take in all the information and the weather is just one of those pieces of information that you have to take in.”

The start of the 2021 CFL season was postponed to August due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the schedule was shortened to 14 games, plus playoffs.

That pushed the schedule to December for the first time since the 1930s.

The last game ever played in Winnipeg was November 29, which was the 2015 Gray Cup. The last game involving the Bombers was on November 24, 1962.

Anyway, the Bombers think they are ready after putting together an excellent season in which they took first place on October 23 and have been preparing for this playoff game ever since.

“It feels like we’ve been waiting for this for a long time,” said Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros, the West’s nominee for CFL Most Outstanding Player. “I think we handled it very well. We took advantage of the position we were in leading up to this and everyone is excited to get out there and play. ”

The Bombers are priceless favorites (8.5 points) after setting an 11-3 record in the regular season and finishing in first place. They led the league in many offensive and defensive categories, beating the second riders (9-5) twice and not allowing a single touchdown in the two games.

Winnipeg’s defense was approaching historic levels, allowing just 13.4 points per game and forcing league-high 38 turnovers.

The Bombers essentially have their optimal lineup (which includes 15 all-stars) intact – although starring Andrew Harris is a game-time decision – and they should be very hard to beat. Even if Harris can’t go, the Bombers have a lot of depth with running backs Brady Oliveira and Johnny Augustine and have proven they can win all season with them.

However, the weather and the fact that they haven’t played a meaningful game in six weeks since taking first place could work against the Bombers.

“We practiced under the conditions,” said Bombers defense attorney Willie Jefferson. “Some days it’s been rainy, some days snowy, some days windy, it’s been cold all the time. We’ve been practicing in this weather for a week and a half and we’re ready to hit some balls and get those pads clapping.”

The Riders defeated the Calgary Stampeders 33-30 in overtime in last week’s West Semifinals in Regina and are coming in well. They’ve done enough to win that game, but will have to be much better — quarterback Cody Fajardo threw four interceptions — if they’re to compete with the Bombers.

The Riders could be without one of their top receivers as Duke Williams, who caught five passes for 55 yards last week, is a game decision due to the turf toe.

The people of Winnipeg are concerned that it will be difficult for the Bombers to quickly return to high gear after finishing the season with three insignificant games and a farewell week.

Linebacker Adam Bighill, who is in line for his third Most Outstanding Defensive Player award at the Gray Cup in Hamilton next week, said there is every reason to believe the Bombers will be in top form on Sunday.

Article content

He said players have been in the stadium for 10 hours a day since the team took first place, doing the kind of work it takes to get ready for such a big game.

“If you look at the details of the performance that we have as we work, I think it’s very high,” Bighill said. “And the reason is that we’ve put in extra work to make sure that when we’re on the pitch, every opportunity is bright and clean, as detailed as we like it to be.

“When you’re working, you build trust. When you build the confidence, the nerves disappear because you know what’s going to happen. You know how to handle the situation and you know what to do.”

As the heavy favorites – and given their dominating regular season – there is no doubting the pressure on the Bombers to win this game and chase their second consecutive Gray Cup title next week in Hamilton.

Article content

More than 30,000 spectators are expected to brave the weather conditions and cheer on the Bombers as they play a division final at home for the first time since 2011.

There is a lot at stake.

“Pressure is probably the word to use, but the way you handle pressure is through preparation,” Collaros said. “It feels like we’ve been preparing for this game for a while, even before we knew who we were going to play against. The phone rings and we’ve had a really good week, but it all depends on the execution.

“We are very much looking forward to the challenge. The Riders are a great football team.”

Michigan vs. Iowa Live Score, Updates, Highlights of 2021 Big Ten Championship Game

Michigan vs. Iowa Live Score, Updates, Highlights of 2021 Big Ten Championship Game

Michigan took a major hurdle when it knocked out Ohio state last week. It was the Wolverines’ first win over the Buckeyes since 2011, and the first in Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh’s tenure.

But with a loss to Iowa in Saturday’s Big Ten title game, the win over Ohio State would suddenly have much less meaning. It would again be symbolic of Michigan reaching a large mound and failing to clear it, something that has plagued the corn and blue since Harbaugh’s arrival.

However, this is certainly one of the best teams Harbaugh has deployed on his return to Ann Arbor. The Wolverines, like the Hawkeyes, have been known for strong running and defense this season. In fact, it’s likely that the best player on the field for either team will not be a quarterback.

For Michigan, it will likely be defensive Aidan Hutchinson or linebacker David Ojabo leading the charge for the Wolverines’ defense. Hutchinson registered three sacks against Ohio State and is now the Wolverines’ single-season record holder in that category. Ojabo meanwhile provides a nice addition, with 11 tackles for losses and also 11 sacks.

But Iowa’s offensive line has Tyler Linderbaum, the highest center in the country. He’ll likely be tasked with punching holes for star-running Tyler Goodson, while Michigan’s offensive line will have to do the same for Hassan Haskins. Haskins scored five touchdowns against Ohio State.

This game is a must-win for Michigan and could help define Harbaugh’s legacy at his alma mater. However, a win in Iowa will likely keep the Big Ten out of the playoff altogether.

Strictly speaking: Johannes and John receive a score of 32 . from the jury

Strictly fans were in tears tonight when the “painful” exit result was leaked online.

It comes after a tense night as the couples compete to secure a place in the semi-finals.

At the bottom of the standings were AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington, who took their lowest score of the competition after failing to impress with their salsa.

However, at the top of the standings were Rhys and Nancy and Rose and Giovanni with 39.

While fans kept biting their nails in anticipation of the result hours after the result came in, viewers continued to sob as they found out who made it to the next round.

Strictly speaking, fans were in tears when the result was leaked tonight

One commented: “I’m crying, I’m so happy.”

While another commented: “Somewhat sad, but it’s definitely the right result #StrictlySpoiler.”

A third wrote: “Aw I feel sad.”

But another pointed out: “The right 2 were in the dance out.”

Strictly fans were outraged by John and Johannes’ low scores

It comes after fans tonight were outraged by John Whaite and Johannes Radebe’s scores, accusing the judges of trying to “fix” the vote.

The 32-year-old Bake Off winner performed a Salsa tonight on Sister Sledge’s We are Family and wowed viewers.

But the judges were not that impressed, as they scored them lowest on the standings despite positive comments.

“We’ve asked you to add some other content,” Shirley Ballas noted. “You had a good time, well done.”

“It was great, I loved the disco feeling,” said Anton. “You came out without any inhibitions.”

They got a seven, two eights and a nine.

One commented: “JOHN AND JOHANNES UNDERMARKED! #strict.”

While another raged: “If they score Dan higher than John, I’ll revolt. Then NEVER could do what John just did. #Strict.”
